UK Law...The Big Issues on children photography... the law doesn't theoretically distinguish much between adult and child subjects. We can normally photograph anyone in a public place, law or harasment and privacy notwithstanding.Some parents are naturally concerned about the welfare of their children and the media has made many parents suspicous of anyone with a camera near their children. (Digital Camera March 2006:77-83).
Malaysia Law...There's no such implementation of this law in Malaysia...but it will exist in few year time...
Do carry on shooting in public placeswhere kids happen to be present, but be prepare to answer to parents and Don't expect to be able to take pictures of kids in schools or parks without permission.
